Jay planted a garden this year, tomatoes, jalapenos and habaneros.  Unfortunately he started traveling for work again and it was up to me to figure out what to do with his bumper crop of peppers.  Some got frozen, some of the jalepenos got pickled.

So I decided to dry some of the habaneros.  I put them in a low oven and left them there, for almost two days.  The first few hours were a bit intense (keep the windows open!) but after that I could only smell them if I took a good sniff.

I can’t tell you how these taste, because I’m not going to be the one eating them.  Jay is the hot pepper guy.
